They all were strong and passion-filled
and none of them were easy caught.
Of all the winds in all the world that could have fought,
A Zephyr Rose
With courage born of challenging
the silly things we’re often taught,
stronger than despairing critics
could have thought,
A Zephyr Rose
The night was gone, the sun did rise,
the sky was filled with light it wrought.
And blooming in the breeze’s song
that dawn had brought:
A Zephyr Rose
Your poetry has such a beautiful echo to it. It always touches me deeply 🌷
